Connect a domain

After a site is provisioned you receive a temporary hostname on sites.hoxi.net. Add an A record for your apex to the node IP shown on the domain page, or CNAME www to the temporary host. Hoxi.net checks DNS in the background and will not assume propagation is instant.

Nameservers

Point your domain at ns1.hoxi.net and ns2.hoxi.net, or keep your current DNS and only add the A / CNAME records from the panel. Either path works.

SSL

Issue a certificate from the site page once DNS is honest. Force HTTPS after the cert is live. Failed issues retry on the job queue.

What you never see

Server admin, root shells, API tokens, internal document roots, and raw node errors. Failed calls become a calm retry message. Staff logs keep the detail.
